A Space Made By Moms, For Moms

About the Cause

Mothering Club is a community space where moms can relax and be authentic, they don’t have to pretend because theres no judgement here. We believe vulnerability is strength, and that no mother should ever feel alone in the messy, beautiful, and often brutal journey of motherhood.

But we’re also about joy, creativity, and fun. This isn’t a sterile hospital support group — it’s your cool mom clubhouse. We’re here to build a new kind of community — one where you can talk about postpartum rage and diaper blowouts in the same breath as skincare, sourdough, or your latest Amazon regret.

At Mothering Club, we blend real support with real fun — because we believe that laughter, creativity, and friendship are just as healing as traditional therapy.

We’re here for the chaos, the connection, and the in-between moments that make motherhood unforgettable.

Our Mission

Mothering Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the emotional, mental, and social well-being of mothers from pregnancy through early parenthood.

We offer free and low-cost support groups, educational workshops, holistic wellness resources, and access to attainable mental health care — including therapy referrals, financial subsidies, and trauma-informed guidance.

We believe that when mothers are educated, empowered, and supported, families and communities thrive. Our programs equip mothers with knowledge, tools, and confidence to care for themselves and their children — covering topics like postpartum mental health, infant development, sleep, feeding, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy.

We are especially committed to serving mothers facing financial hardship, isolation, or systemic barriers to care. Through inclusive programming, professional partnerships, and ongoing community education, we aim to create a culture where every mother feels seen, supported, and never alone.

About the Founder

I’m Kelsea.

Motherhood was always my dream, the whole reason I kept going. I imagined being this perfect mom, doing all the fun things, giving my kids everything I never had. But real motherhood? It slammed me hard. The guilt, the shame, the burnout... it crushed me. I was drowning in postpartum depression and anxiety, barely holding it together.

I started Mothering Club because I needed it for me. A place where moms could come as they are. Messy, exhausted, scared, and find real support. I wanted to build something that felt like home, because I knew how lonely it can get when no one’s really listening.

But trying to run this business while fighting my own mental health was brutal. The very thing I poured my heart into ended up breaking me. I had to close the storefront because I couldn’t keep going like that.

Still, the mission never left me. I still believe in the power of moms coming together, supporting each other without judgment, without pressure, just raw honesty and love. So I’m relaunching Mothering Club as a nonprofit co-op. A space run by moms, for moms.

This isn’t about making money. It’s about building community, creating connection, and giving every mom a place to breathe, to be seen, to be held. Because motherhood is beautiful and brutal and we shouldn’t have to do it alone.

I’m still learning how to put myself first, how to love myself when I feel like I’ve failed, how to keep fighting even when it hurts. Mothering Club is my way of saying; we’re in this together. And I promise, you’re not alone.
