A note from Ashley Kirkland

I am a Registered Nurse and a proud mother of 5 boys, three here on earth and two angels in heaven. My journey into lactation support began when my first son required a week-long NICU stay. The Lactation Consultant during that time not only empowered me to breastfeed him but also equipped me with invaluable tools that allowed us to bring him home earlier than expected. Her guidance inspired me to pursue a career in lactation support.

After breastfeeding my own children and cultivating a deep passion for assisting others, I became an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). In addition to my nursing background, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Wellness Management. With 12 years of experience as an RN, I approach lactation support by assessing the needs of both mother and baby holistically, providing evidence-based care tailored to their unique circumstances.

In addition to my clinical work, I teach breastfeeding classes where I empower parents with knowledge and practical skills to achieve their breastfeeding goals. I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way on your breastfeeding journey, whatever your aspirations may be.
